How to end harassment of electors after the Presidential election

There could be a law passed making it illegal to contact an elector after the Presidential election to try to influence the vote of the elector.
That would put an end to people harassing the electors by flooding the electors with thousands of emails and letters trying to convince the electors to change their votes.
It would also put an end to people physically contacting the electors while the electors are just trying to live their normal lives.

Are assault laws not enough for this? We don't need new legislation for every single thing.

The names of the electors can't be kept secret because under Sunshine laws the names of the electors are public information.

No.
Presently, if an elector is physically confronted in public and the person starts talking to the elector in an attempt to get the elector to change their vote then as long as the person doesn't physically assault the elector the person can claim it's their First Amendment right.
