so you're saying the republican nominee for president should advocate the removal of tax breaks for every married person in the US? I can't think of a better way to attract undecided voters than to removing advantages to filing jointly

that is where you pivot to the flat tax. BOOM kill two birds with one stone.

Certainly don't come out for gay marriage just don't say you are against it either leave it up to the states,

I don't think this would really help that much. I don't think too many independents would be swayed by this because it would be seen as just status quo as its basically being decided state by state now. I think is certainly better than and more helpful to the party than to come out with vocal opposition, but i think the American people would see it as more of a 'oh finally'

but a majority of americans think gay marriage should be valid by law. and even more if you take out the republicans (since we have that vote) who only support at 30%. Independents support at near 60% and moderates support at 63%.

On pot though, i think it would certainly help attract new voters and sway independents. also lessening of prison time for violations of federal MJ laws as well.

gay marriage is pretty much settled at this point. And by 2016, it will be legal in probalby 20-25 states if not a lot more.

If I was a GOP candidate, I would say its settled and my administration will execute the laws as they are understood.

Just try to say IDGAF without saying IDGAF
