Leftists celebrate Memorial Day. We honor those who gave their lives to defeat the Confederate States of America. We honor those fought against the German Empire in WWI and we celebrate those who gave their lives to defeat Nazi Germany in an alliance with the Soviet Union.

Yes I forgot to include the American Revolution. War of 1812 was unnecessary. Mexican-American War, Spanish-American War were wars of imperialism.
Korean War was right in that the North violated Self-Determination. Vietnam we should have stayed out of, the Gulf Wars are huge tragedies. Afghanistan is Meh.

Does Germany have a Memorial Day? Are they allowed to "honor the past" as we hear so often on here.
Can the average German soldier be honored in Germany from WWII...
Or is it just WWI that they are comfortable with?

The NVA violated self determination, as did Saddam in the first Gulf War.
We went into Afghanistan because they murdered 3000 of our people.

It means so much more to me than most of you here on this board.
We lost 11 fine, young Marines out of my platoon in 1969-70 in a war we knew little about. When I think back....I can still see their faces and know where they came from and in some instances who they left behind.
You may enjoy this holiday weekend, but to me it's still painful. I will fly my flag in their honor.
OORAH my fallen brothers. GOD bless!
