How do we convince conservatives to move back to our cities?

Having such incredible geographic concentrations of reliable voters is a huge tactical advantage for the democrats.
I know our cities have not been great places to raise families, but that is obviously changing. Besides the tactical disadvantage, I think it's critical that conservatives move from the suburbs to the cities to eliminate the echo chambers in which liberals reside. I also think being exposed to the people on the other side of social issues will personalize those issues and sideline social issues for conservatives.
I think possibly the biggest obstacle is the liberal stance against consumerism and environmental impacts of driving is enough to encourage them to make the sacrifices necessary to absorb the higher cost of living, and I'm not sure what levers we can pull to make the case for conservatives

Yes, a joke. Don't get your panties in a wad.

Like I said, this is changing. Inner loop Houston has some of the best schools in the state. I'm sure similar examples can be found in other cities.
The problem is you have to either be able to spend a million dollars on a 2500-3000 sqf house, or scale down to a 1500 sqf house or an equal size townhome for about what you pay in the burbs.

this, if you ever wonder where the best area to buy a house that will maintain its value, find the best school system

No, it's not.

No. The biggest obstacle is a shitty public school system that more closely resembles a war zone.

It's called gentrification. The gays move in and pretty the place up. Then, the inner city residents can't afford to live there. Then, families move in, and prices sky rocket.

Well, that's like 75% of the reason most whites don't live in the city.

Apparently, only liberal families

Something I've thought about is "urban homesteading." You take a few families of well armed patriots and they buy up dirt cheap properties in your North Baton Rouges and your South Side Chicagos and all the worst ghettos, and then build sort of fortified compounds and slowly force out the savages. It's a romantic notion. Call it a dream.

I disagree... Conservatives moving to, say, San Francisco, only dilutes our vote. Keep the libs isolated and concentrated in one area. Don't let the cancer spread.

Which city do you reside? I know Louisiana hasn't improved, but that's not representative of the entire country.

well, the younger generations are already moving back into the cities
and if one is to believe that people generally get more conservative as they age, then you must believe that all the young kids moving into the cities right now will eventually shift the structure of the cities in the future, no?

I think that there are more than people realize. I live in one if the few counties (Franklin; > 1.2 MM people) in Ohio that went blue.
Despite a large Hillary victory (336,000 votes or 61%) Trump recieved over 192,000 votes and Romney had even more (208,000).
I think we look at maps with only two colors, and forget that only represents the majority (even plurality), and we forget there is much more to that.

Sorry, can you point to one? Everyone I know inside the loop sends their kids to private school. My wife worked in several schools inside the loop, and they are hellholes.
