I can only think of one way, and that's for the whole of the middle class to simply stop paying income tax.

About a month ago I actually changed my tax status to "Exempt", but chickened out and changed it back a few days later.

Would this even work? I mean they can't put all of us in jail.

Also, how long would it take to really start to make an impact?

The total income tax for the entire country, in 2021, was about 1.6 trillion dollars. Of that the top 1% paid roughly 40% ($680B). It looks like the middle class pay close to a trillion dollars a year in income tax.

As we get closer to November, the left is getting more desperate with each passing day. They have made it very clear that they will do just about anything to keep Trump out of office.

How do we hold these people responsible without having to aim a weapon?

No it wouldn't work because most people aren't stupid enough to do it

We can’t

1. Politicians don’t have the balls to secede

2. If they did, and they don’t, the moochers would go to war for removing the tit

What good is the second amendment if you refuse to use it to hold a corrupt & tyrannical government accountable which was one of the original intents of the amendment to begin with?

Nominate electable candidates, win elections, and govern without sacrificing conservative progress for nonsense culture war issues that result in a wave of liberal opposition in the voting base.

If you don't pay income tax they put you in jail. If the jails are full they take all your stuff and give it to 'our new immigrants.'

The best thing a person can do is vote with their feet. Move from a Dem place to a GOP place and take your taxes with you. I did. And a lot of other people are doing it.

On a smaller scale buy products the left doesn't want you to buy and skip shite they want you to have (like EVs).

Well, when you have a government that just prints money and grows our deficit, I would have to say it would have no impact at all.

That would be very John Galt. It could “stop the motor of the world”.

Unfortunately, many of them still vote democrat even after moving into conservative areas. I see it all the time in Texas.

Wow. I agree with you on this. But most Americans aren't to that point yet. Once we get there, it will matter.

Again, for the remedial reader, I am voting for Trump. I just wish I didn't have to.

At least you’re not as dumb as the others. But wishing you didn’t have to when you don’t is a bit odd.

If you were in the top of one of the twin towers on 9/11, you had two options: jump or burn to death.

I'd probably choose to jump, but I'd sure wish wouldn't have to.

Given two bad options, you always take the better one and hope for the best.

Local elections and boards. Democrats own community based movements. They are far more organized.

$$$. Stop supporting Hollywood, woke corporations and a consumerist lifestyle with your money.

So, if a 'stolen election' and all the Illegal Immigration at the southern border isn't enough then what will be? If those two things aren't enough its hard to imagine what would be.

in my opinion, this country is now on a trajectory that can only end in violence. i dont know when the damn breaks, as it were, but i dont see how any of this can get walked back to a place where we were even ten years ago. the rhetoric and vitriol from the Left is at a point where a very significant portion of the country literally believes that their political enemies are a physical danger to them and are on the level with Nazis. further, i believe our elections are compromised, and that we are only a matter of a few short years from single party rule.

we are replaying the first half of the 20th century, and mass bloodshed, violence, and genocide is a matter of when not if.

happy Tuesday.

Makes one wonder why we pay taxes at all.
