It was the big story on Trumps twitter feed for about an hour. Yep. Such a colossal event in American politics, it was upstaged by an Apprentice show tweet. Your boy is trying his hardest to deflect... just keep throwing shot in the wall and see what sticks.

How low has President Obama gone to tapp my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!

Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't voluntarily leaving the Apprentice, he was fired by his bad (pathetic) ratings, not by me. Sad end to great show

Wiretapping a political opponent is a big deal and a gross misuse of federal power despite how much denying and feigned ignorance the progressive shills can muster.

Yeah I expect that Donald will tweet something soon about Ivanka's new lingerie line and how good she looks in panties and bra.

Much larger and far more reaching than Watergate ever was, Watergate was as said at the time 3rd rate burglary gone wrong and made much larger by the cover up.

This appears to be a police state action with many more involved.

Based on what evidence? A tweet from a trump? Should we also launch an investigation into the Apprentice? You know- make sure it's not part of some bigger new world order agenda?

Amid Thursday’s over-hyped brouhaha about Jeff Sessions meeting with the Russian ambassador, a curious detail emerged. In Sessions's recusal memo, it was explained who at the Justice Department would be handling any investigations into the Trump campaign's alleged ties to Russia. "Consistent with the succession order for the Department of Justice, Acting Deputy Attorney General and U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia Dana Boente shall act as and perform the functions of the Attorney General with respect to any matters from which I have recused myself to the extent they exist," reads Sessions's official statement on the matter.

Except that if the Obama administration had its way, Dana Boente wasn't supposed be the U.S. attorney to handle these matters in the event that Sessions recused himself. On February 10, USA Today reported the following:

Seven days before he left office, President Obama changed the order of succession without explanation to remove Boente from the list. Obama's order had listed U.S. attorneys in the District of Columbia, the Northern District of Illinois and the Central District of California.

Why would Obama try to place a loyalist in charge of any future investigation into the wire taps?

have any of our friends on the left attempted to answer this question yet?

It's an excellent question to ask considering the timing of the EO.

They won't answer. There is no answer other than the obvious one. The one they're deliberately ignoring.

Ok, now you're either losing it, just plain lying or not keeping up.

Nobody's denying that there were wiretaps, jughead.

Clearly. I guess they will ignore and then pretend nothing happened.

Even obama hasn't taken it this far. Are you now on record as saying there never were taps?

Exactly. And to take it a step further, using a countries intelligence apparatus against a political opponent is the hallmark of a police state.

Will be interesting to watch this unfold.

And this differs from their standard MO regarding inconvenient facts in what way?
