The Senate is where the real fight will be. The GOP doesn't have nearly the wiggle room there it has in the House.

New Orleans receives between $3.2 million and $3.7 million every year in criminal justice grants which will now be stripped once this is signed.

It doesn't have to. There's an easy way to keep that money. Gee, I wonder what that would be.

The real fight will once again be in the courts. The 9the circuit will throw these laws out and the Supreme Court will reinstate.

I love all this winning!!!!! I mean why do we need criminal justice grants? The statues are down, so that means no more crime. Am I right

Exactly right. This is yet another prime opportunity for republicans to give the Democrats their own medicine, but they won't. This is where the Republicans can say not upholding this law is killing people, and actually be right I might add otherwise the law wouldn't be "Kate's law".

As far as the house growing some balls

But 9th circuit will strike it down and the fight begins.
