House approves bill to force public release of EPA science

That is the actual headline for the article: Here

In other words, without this legislation, the EPA can (because it does) enact regulations "to protect human health and the environment" and if the public asked to see the supporting data/research, all the EPA has to do is say:



As infuriating as the internet privacy bill that passed was/and is (to the extent it's such a bill), the fact that this only passed the House 228-194 is unreal. I cannot wait for the bullshite reasons to oppose this to come out of the Senate.

I would have thought the EPA would have participated in the free flow of science information with out a law.

Maybe it's a national secret?
