Thank you for all that. I've copied and pasted into Word and will print and pass out at work on Tuesday. You will open many eyes with these new concepts.

All of these people struggling under Obamas Presidency

I was told, not only does he walk on water, and his urine can cure leprosy, but that everyone was doing great under his leadership.

So??

We still on this bush bs? my experience has been the more these (edit) guys with doctorates tell me that the economy is better, the less I build, the less I create and the less I bring home.

I don't know what numbers you guys look at but I gotta say my wallet disagrees.

With all due respect, how old are you? Were you around in 1979? I know the popular media narrative has been this past recession was the worst one since 1929. That simply is not the case. The recession in the late 70's and early 80's was by any metric far, far worse

17% interest. Do you have any idea how frigging impossible it is to run an economy with that reality.

Any argument that Obama faced a larger economic issue than Reagan is just patently false

No thanks to Obama.

And, in my estimation, this identity of constant travel or relocation is a terrible symptom of the modern world. Humans are not meant to constantly develop new social circles, abandon them, and repeat the system ad nauseum - especially while going childless for the sake of 'freedom'.

I respect your opinion, but humans aren't "meant" to do anything. The greatest thing our society offers is the ability to choose your own life.

I suppose I should substitute 'meant' for 'optimized'.

The hardware and software we all inherit is what it is. I'd agree that most people are happiest in closely knit long term communities with family bonds, but I'm glad we have the option to choose otherwise.

I say this as someone who spent a great deal of time doing just that, I'm not some backwoods bumpkin with no exposure. Travel is, obviously, a good thing - but moderation is key in all aspects of life, nor do I think a prolonged adolescence with minimal responsibility is healthy for development of character.

Of course, I could be talking out of my arse.

The first and second sentence don't connect.

Because there's an assortment of paths you can take in our society has nothing at all to do with the notion of what humans are meant to do while on this planet.

I consider the first sentence a fact and the latter an opinion.
