You really see an overt bias in that statement?

No. And that's the point. That statement is a qualifier that discounts their attitude toward the legitimacy of the entire story.

I'm not following. It's common knowledge opposition research happens. This group went to Arkansas and pulled a tape from 20 years ago. I'd say they're doing 'anything they can to discredit her'.
I'm not saying the research is out of bounds by any stretch; I'm just wondering what your hang-up is with the line from ABC News...

You can do your job and not be disrespectful.
It amazes me that the University Of Arkansas pulled the research rights of the WFB who found the audio tapes.

My reaction in reading the story was, "Damn, I can't believe this is ABC." When I got to that part, it was, "There it is..."

How many lawyers laughed about knowing their client raped a 12 yr old and were prideful about helping that client walk?
I think you'd be sickened to find out how many

But this is one early example of how Republican groups are digging into Clinton’s past, finding any way they can to discredit her
Like the Democrats won't do that to whoever gets the GOP nomination
It's part of the political process. They should stop whining

It's one thing to have an ethical and legal obligation to fight for your client as much you can to the fullest extent of the law, it's quite another to openly brag about such a deplorable situation.
I'm not surprised by this. Hillary is scum.

Why was American's 2nd President Pro-Boston Massacre?

If Anne shouldn't have a horse, and an elevator...
Clinton shouldn't be in bed with sexual predators...
Unless it's Bill, that's o.k....

This is unrelated to the thread but I'm gonna put it here rather than starting a new thread.
Hillary seems to just make stuff up for no good reason.
In her CNN town hall the other day, she was talking about her normal, run of the mill married life before Bill announced he wanted to go into politics.
Something about it didn't ring true and I finally looked into it to see why that didn't sound right. Bill ran for a House seat in 1974, a year before they were married. He was running for Attorney General their entire first year of their marriage and was elected a year after they were married.
She is such a bullshitter.

But I also wanted to get better. I think when I -- you know, I was leading this perfectly kind of, you know, ordinary life, until my husband got into politics. And then, all of a sudden, it was like a tsunami, you know, people writing and saying and all kinds of critiques.

I don't know any defense attorneys who are or would be "prideful" that a rapist goes free. Whether people see it or not, there is a difference between that and being satisfied that you did a good job in a tough case or telling "war stories" about past trials. Laughing about a polygraph result is not at all the same as laughing about a victim.
She was a couple of years out of law school and, as a young lawyer, was asked to take the case. She did, and she apparently did her job.

Why are you pro rape? Do you think rape is a joke?
What kind of lawyer likes rape, since you seem to know so much about it?

Yep she sure did. She got a guilty child rapist set free. Must make all defense attorneys proud!
