The amazing part about this whole thing, is that it appears that Putin will end up annexing Crimea without firing a shot. Probably the last time something similar happened was Denmark's surrender to Germany in WWII two hours after the invasion.

I think he refers to himself as Black. Do you have a problem with that, or are you just trying to think a substitute for a word that you're not allowed to use on this board?

I think I was asking if it was deemed OK by the PC-gestapo to say "mulatto" anymore. It's not a complicated question.
And, by definition, would be more accurate than black.

It's okay. According to the media, this is all happening because W let them go into Georgia. 5 years into his presidency and it's still "Bush's fault."

I think she is really scared he is going to tarnish her reputation. She basically has sec of state on her resume as her qualification, in addition to congress. She has to be seen positively in that role.

as with everything it depends on context.
if you are smearing someone and then say mulatto, not ok. But if you are neutral or positive and say mulatto, and do respectively you are probably just a little backwards but ok.
biracial is the term you want.

Why do you have a problem with this? White folks in this country, from the very beginning, have never accepted people with mixed African and European ancestry - which describes the vast majority of Black Americans - as being anything other than Black.
During Jim Crow, there were only Black and White schools, there were no mulatto schools, there were no mulatto pools, there were no mulatto water fountains. When the military was segregated, the were no biracial companies, platoons or brigades, there were only Black and White ones. Even at the Pentagon, there were only Black and White restrooms, there were no mulatto or biracial restrooms.
Furthermore, I don't recall seeing an option for mulatto on any application of form that I've ever had to fill out, only Black or African-Anerican. You beef shouldn't be with Obama, it should be with founders of this conutry who determined what the societal norms would be on the issue of race, because they defintely wanted everything to be in black and white without any shades of gray.

have you watched Fox News? WWIII could break out from this and Fox would miss it becuase they are tripping all over themselves trying to blame Obama for Russia taking over Crimea.

If your goal is truly precise anthropological language, your should refer to most Black Americans as biracial, including Michelle Obama, but I've never heard anybody get their panties in a bunch over what she calls herself.
