Many people may be uncomfortable, if not angry, by the end of this piece. However, I’ve already made peace with that. The political future and direction of this country are too important to sweep pivotal issues under the carpet of political correctness.

Since Barack Obama took office in 2009, Democrats have lost nearly 1,000 legislative seats to Republican control. Since 2008, in fact, Democrats have increasingly refused to show up at the polls, down from nearly 70 million in 2008 to 59 million in 2016. Meanwhile, Republican voters have shown up consistently through those years, between 59 million–61 million. What’s more, on Nov. 9, nearly half of the eligible pool of 230.6 million voters, 115.3 million, didn’t bother to show up at all. Another 7.8 million voted “Other” — just simply could not bring themselves to vote for either party. That’s 123.1 million American voters out in “no man’s land.”

If this trend continues, it seems likely that the Republican Party will win the midterm elections in 2018 and the White House, again, in 2020. The trend preceded Donald Trump, which means, should incriminating, irrefutable evidence prove that Trump colluded in acts of treason with Russia and he is, indeed, impeached or imprisoned, that may not necessarily favor the Democratic Party.

quote:

Those unfamiliar with evangelical practices may well ask, “Who are these ‘prophets’?” Meet Kim Clement — in full action — who can be heard “prophesying” via a YouTube mash-up, ostensibly from 2007, about the rise of “the trump.”
quote:

Clement is not alone in this business of prophecy, nor in conveying allegations of God’s displeasure with the media. Before the election, retired firefighter Mark Taylor said God showed him in 2011 that Trump would become president and that “even mainstream news media will be captivated by this man and the abilities that I [God] have gifted him with, and they will even begin to agree with him.” Ha.
quote:

In a post-election radio interview, Taylor said something rather interesting as well.

“Trump had said at one point that we had three objectives that we needed to meet as the Army of God,” Taylor reminded his audience. “The first was to get Trump elected. The second one was to get him inaugurated...The third one was going to be the first four or five months that he was in office; that it would be a little bit rocky...Rest assured, none of that is going to succeed because this man has been anointed and appointed by God....God’s already spoken.”

Don't let this distract you from the the fact that in 1966, Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, "Spare Tire" Dixon.

IMO, the state of the "resistance" to Trump (and Trumpkins) can be summed up in one word: FEAR

The "Left" never believed Trump would win. Ever since he did win, they've tried everything they could think of to stop him. They begged the electors to switch from Trump to somebody (anybody) else. They sought to blame Hillary's defeat on the false narrative of Trump colluding with the Russians. They've marched, protested, rioted.

But, nothing has worked. Reality is starting to set in for them that, even for this President that they hate like he's from their old neighborhood, the math remains constant. One Presidential Term = 4 YEARS.

97 days down, 1,364 to go. And, that's assuming the Dems can beat him in 2020, which is not exactly a leadpipe cinch.

You're right. The mockery is simply a pathetic attempt to conceal the real emotion. They skeered.

Given that IRS and USPIS just went after one of the big "generals" of this "Army of God", I wouldn't be so sure that everything is cozy.

One thing I know about that movement is that they wear their tinfoil hats rather tight. EVERYTHING is a conspiracy in their view.

While those "Armageddon" Christians are crazy, give me them over the liberal's pet Muslims any day. I would much rather live next door to Jack Van Impe than to Prophet Abish Al-Zawaerhomoud

This is the bottom-line. Progs can come in here all day long and make fun of evangelicals/Christians...

It won't change the fact that the democrat party is still focused on identitiy politics, race-baiting, cultural warfare, and radical SJW ideals. They have made BLM their plank and the middle class won't have it. Perez cursing this garbage from the pulpit is shameful.

Also: I was not aware that two people prophesized a Trump win. It's interesting.

I'm not a prophet but biblical scripture and prophesy sure is starting to make a lot of sense and it's becoming harder to deny even for an unbeliever.

The "army of God" thing is nonsense, as well as the prophesies (God doesn't provide revelation outside of the Bible any longer), but it's true that Democrats are in for a world of hurt in the midterms if they don't stop their downward spiral of identity politics. The days of shaming people into voting for you are over. People want to be inspired.

I briefly studied the prophetic nature of the retired fireman they speak of in the article. A lot of people would have a problem with God supposedly intervening for Trump...thinking-- how could "God" intervene for a man with three wives and greed.

If you study prophets, none of them were perfect. In the Catholic world. Saints were regular everyday sinners in a lot of cases.

The way to judge prophecy no matter who you are or your faith level... is by the fruits and actions of the prophecies. The fireman, so called prophet cited a very specific prophecy regarding the SCOTUS. I won't say it outloud as progressives reading this-- head's would explode...

But if this prophecy suffices to reality; then this prophet has some credibility.

I don't know anything about the other prophet huffy post cites.

Yeah I meant stuff in Isaiah, Daniel, and revelation. I do however believe independent of this fireman testimony that God is using Trump to do his will. Does not mean trump will forever have this blessing but I see it similar to Sampson before he cut his hair. Trump is going to win until we get sick of it, then keep winning until the good Lord sees fit.

The word of God was accompanied by acts of God (miracles) to prove the source was from God.

Anyone can claim prophecy, especially in something like a US Presidential election where you essentially have a 50/50 shot at being right. Are these "prophets" accompanying their message with miracles? Are they correct in their prophesies 100% of the time? The answer is likely "no". Not to mention the Bible is closed and not to be added to (indicating that divine revelation is over) and nothing that claims to be from God can contradict the Bible.

Only thing I know is the fireman self proclaimed he was healed from an illness that kept him bedridden.

I just think it's interesting I am not interested in debating it.

I was. For reasons I won't go into, I was never a big Kim Clement fan (he died one or two weeks after the election, btw). But, it's irrefutable that he was talking about Trump & a man who has "hot blood" as far back as a decade ago.

I do like Mark Taylor. He says he got the word in 2011, and actually thought he had "missed it" because he thought Trump was supposed to run in 2012. But, Taylor jumped right out there in mid-2015 with his prophecy. At the time, Trump was considered to be a huge underdog to even get the GOP nomination, so it isn't like Taylor was simply jumping on the bandwagon of a frontrunner.

I especially like the word he received, back in 2016, that Trump's First few months would be "bumpy". But Taylor also said that the efforts to destroy the Trump presidency, including efforts by Obama, would fail. And further, that the Trump Administration would be rolling along nicely by late Summer to early Autumn.

That's fine. No debate needed. I'll just say that I think it's a blessing that Trump was elected instead of Hillary, but I don't think God communicated that ahead of time to anyone. Glad that firefighter got his health back, though

Churches have changed over the last two decades. I was shocked when people starting wearing hats, t-shirts, and shorts to church.

My wife said that it is a way to get Millenilials in the doors. These changes could also have an affect why evangelicals are more liberal now than 20 years ago.

It really is amazing. So many different "signs" that are, cumulatively, hard to ignore. As just one example, the Bible attached substantial significance to the meaning of various numbers. We've all heard that Trump was 70 years, 7 months & 7 days old on Inauguration Day.

I actually discovered one that I haven't seen anybody mention. Donald Trump was born on 6/14/46. Israel officially became a nation on 5/14/48.

Donald Trump was EXACTLY 700 days old when Israel achieved statehood. People can scoff all they want at something like that; I know how God loves to give us signs like this. Just have to dig a little. But, we don't mind spending 3 hours watching an LSU football game (4 hours if it's on CBS). We can all give some effort, and take God up on his promise to us in his book (Jeremiah 33:3).

PS - I wish we could start threads about stuff like this without it being deleted.

The only standard to judge a prophet (per the Bible) is that the prophet must be 100% accurate in ALL prophecies. Otherwise, back in the day it was a death-penalty offense for being wrong.
