healthcare - how does this latest storm affect passage?

So this Don Jr thing is going to consume a few news cycles. And it takes healthcare off the front page.
What impact will that have?
Will less pressure enable them to get to agreement?
Or will not being able to make a public appeal hurt the movement?
I think it is probably good for healthcare passage. It will be hard to refocus attention from the left against its passage. The left is often like raccoons, attracted to shiny objects often to their own detriment. And this don jr thing is definitely a shiny object.
Moderates might just tune out.
Thoughts?

So-yes, this bullshite will slow things down because the morons against Trump will scream endlessly for more investigations into things that don't merit investigation, thus slowing down the wheels of the legislative process.
