One of Hawaii's arguments against the travel ban is that their culture welcomes diversity.

I agree with Hawaii. Lift the ban and instead of deportation just send all aliens and aliens denied entry there instead.

I've heard stories from others, so I'm sure it happens, but I lived on Oahu for four years and never had a negative interaction.

Native Hawaiians are the most racist un American people on the planet; I was stationed there for four of my years in the corps.

After fighting for civil rights for blacks in the 60s as well as equal rights for women in the 60s then the right for people of all genders and races to be able to sell art and craft items they create themselves on the public sidewalks in the 70s through 2017, I figure it's time for me to fight for my own rights.

Jokingly, a while back I said to park all the Syrian refugees right in Barry's back yard...now since they welcome it...let em. Full containment and Barry gets to hang out with his fellow Muslims.

I went last summer for a week. Everyone I encountered, without exception, was very nice and welcoming.
