Well there are only 400 something billionaires in the U.S. Would not surprise me if they were almost all republicans. And I would be pretty shocked if less than 95% were republicans.

A list of New York’s largest political donors put out by the New York Public Interest Research Group reveals that out of the top 178 donors in 2013, with gifts that range from $50,000 to $1.5 million, 15 come from billionaires or from companies in which billionaires have major stakes. Of the 15, an astounding 12, or 80% of the donations went to either the Democratic Party or Governor Andrew Cuomo’s reelection campaign.
