Lot of emphasis on illegal immigration but what about legal? There are many loopholes and companies shipping large number of Indian and Chinese using H1B but is it necessary?

Increasing legal immigration from foreign affluent groups lead to housing crisis and Americans can’t afford to live in their homes anymore.

There’s a capped amount of H1Bs issued each year through the lottery system, unless you’re working for a university or the government (NIH etc.), then you’re cap exempt. Lots of good people coming here to do good work with an H1B. No reason to focus on legal immigration, it’s good for the US.

I worked for a large Fortune 250 for about 5 years and we hired around 35-50 new H1B folks a year. Some very niche skillsets that are just honestly not taught in US Colleges, seriously.

Nearly every single one LOVES the US and are happy and proud to be here. I haven't had much experience with Chinese H1's, but Indians still view the US as the land of opportunity and most are very hard working, law-abiding, patriotic folks. BIG supporters of traditional family units, most in no way support the crazy woke agenda of the Left.

They're not the ones we should be attacking honestly.

Edit: I'll add as well: I've found that since they've gone through the legal immigration process, a VAST majority hate illegal immigrants with a passion.

That’s the story anyway. It’s bullshite in many ways, but that’s the story.

Its very strange to watch progressives actively support the depressing of wages for native born workers.
