A Public School District Took Middle Schoolers to a Drag Show Without Telling Their Parents
On January 19, the City of Columbia, Missouri held its annual Columbia Values Diversity breakfast, an event that celebrates the civil rights legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King. This year, it ventured into new territory by concluding with a drag show in which adult attendees—as is common in these performances—tossed dollar bills at lip-syncing dancers.
But in addition to the public school officials, administrators, religious leaders, business people, and leaders of non-profits in attendance were 30 students who were bussed to the event by their public schools. And the schools had failed to inform their parents that their children would witness a drag show.

Our entire education system needs to be destroyed and rebuilt or we will not survive as a country.

Someone would die had that been my child, & I’d been fully prepared to go to prison.

This is how 8 year old kids end up telling their parents "I'm gay" without really understanding what that means.

I'd lose my shite and beat who ever made that call

The only thing that's going to change the mindset of the idiots in education is for a dad to kick their asses.

You have to make them suffer financially to make it stop, money rules everything.

When I say rebuilt, I mean privatize the entire industry. Public school is an outdated relic.

I continually challenge defenders of our government school system to show me where the Constitution of the United States charges the federal government with the primary education of the nation's children, because I can show you the corresponding passage in the Communist Manifesto.

This reminds me of that local Baton Rouge story about a year ago with public HS kids going on a field trip to a religious campus. Supposedly they let the boys go outside to play while the girls had to stay inside and listen to instructors saying that boys will be boys, and is it really rape or was it the girls faults for encouraging them. Whatever happened to that story?

Nothing reminds me more of Martin Luther King than a drag queen.

These people are sick. Mentally and spiritually sick.

Still trying to figure out how a drag show fits into this...
Maybe Hanky will be around to let us know how it all works...

Just think... some administrator or teacher thought this trip was a great idea for the kids... broaden their horizons and such...

Education is a service.
Privatize/pay for it (beyond tax dollars), or homeschool.

Leftists see children as "things" to be molded in a way that pleases them.
Dehumanizing children is a sign of Sociopathic behavior.

Guess things have changed a lot since I was in school. We had to have parents permission to go on any sort of road trip off school property.
Were they even notified that the kids were leaving the school?
