That is if Trump fires Jeff sessions.
quote:

A prominent Republican senator warned President Donald Trump Thursday “there will be holy hell to pay” if he fires Attorney General Jeff Sessions and dared the commander-in-chief to “accept the consequences” if he made such a move. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., one of the many GOP lawmakers furious over Trump’s escalating attacks on Sessions, let the president know in no uncertain terms that cutting the former Alabama senator loose from his Cabinet would be met with repercussions.

Ben Sasse did as well. Trump always wins though.

Graham is the go to token GOP pol that progs go to to score gotcha points.

If he won the election (somehow), they'd instead treat him like trash.

This would be like Trump telling Graham there would be holy hell to pay if he fired one of his staffers or subordinates. What an overstepping, pompous arse.

LOL, so now they're trying to act like Trump isn't fully within his authority to change his AG? Optics and political strategies aside, that is laughable to act as if Trump would be committing some atrocity by doing it.

Personally think it would be a bad move by Trump, but it would be a worse move by Graham. He could kiss his position as Senator bye-bye....and he would have to sell his momma's house back home in SC

Exactly. Graham should just end the charade and become a Democrat. At least he'd stop living a lie about ONE aspect of his life

Does anyone remember that Graham actually ran for President? He couldn't even make it to the adult table in ANY of the 15 person debates. Hell, he wasn't even invited to one of them!

Folks of the Poli Board, this is the man who can beat Graham in the Republican Primary during his next election. Tom Davis supported Ron Paul in his 2012 campaign and is our State Senate's version of Rand Paul. He needs to know he has enough support locally and nationally to take down the establishment candidate. This is his information from the SC Legislature's website.
