When contacted about The Forward's story by Buzzfeed, Gorka referred questions to the White House press office. The White House has not yet issued a statement on the story.

This is a nothingburger. Gorka was a dean at the National Defense University....worked for US intel community during the OBAMA administration....my point being that if he was some sort of neo-Nazi type the background checks done for his position would have found that out in say .....2008
