They would never do this for Obama. I wasn't a Trump fan but the more they do this, the more he can say frame all of this as a personal hatred of him (which it definitely is) and project it as personal hatred of all of his supporters (which it likely is). His political career has been in Bizzaro world where every attack on him actually strengthens him. Isolating him makes him stronger too.

Because most of them are pieces of shite and would rather Trump get impeached or somehow brought on criminal charges all the while they collect checks from corporations to promote said corporations' agendas and continue to lie their constituents. Trump really is what they didn't want.

The GOP has figured out it's far easier to sit back and oppose than it is to govern. Trump being an outsider has given them the golden opportunity to keep it up, even though they have all the power.
They can just sit there drawing their salaries, making their backroom lobbying deals, and stop Trump at every turn. Makes the lobbyists happy, makes the Democrats happy, makes pretty much everyone happy inside the beltway.

I completely agree. They seem to be putting their interests ahead of the American people and the economy. It's what I detested so much about D.C. and what attracted me to Trump.
