re: Giving credit where it's due re: Kaepernick
It is used for employment purposes. It is not considered to be a successful measure of fluid and crystallized intelligence due to poor convergent and divergent validity across those domains. There are only a handful of tests that accurately and reliably measure IQ, and you have to have specific training to administer and interpret them. The Wonderlic is just an easy and cheap way to try and differentiate between employees in terms of job placement within an organization.

Alot too much... I honestly think the kid is a head case ,but he made his money and was looking for a way out. No one who really wanted to play football in the NFL would allow their girlfriend to post the things she did about the owner of the Ravens especially when he was about to offer him an 8 figure contract. I think he started this then the media picked it up and ran with it and then it became political. You have a half black kid who was adopted by a rich white family that has a militant black mentality ,but doesn't vote and supports communism. The dude is a straight head case.

It's an IQ test essentially.

IQ =/= common sense

It's a little more than common sense, but it is nothing like a true IQ test. It's funny that people make such a big deal out of it.

I'd say that Kaepernick is now the most sought after long interview subject in North America.

Pretty sure ol' girlfriend of Paddock would command much more exposure right now.

He has been coached well though. His message permeates a lot more with him being silent and others doing his bidding but then again, it's probably an insult to his intelligence (or lackthereof) because he would clown himself in an interview. We all know it's inevitable.

I'm saying that just because you have a high IQ, it doesn't mean you have the common sense to typically survive in politics (unless your constituency is so dumb that they elect you despite the fact that you think an island can tip over).

He only started this whole charade to score points with his hot BLM girlfriend.

Are they even still together now? Maybe the deal was he only has to "protest" for so long.

I'd consider changing my religion...

Reminds me of "Sunshine"

Got it.

In this case, however, we don't even know if he has a high IQ.

He wants a chance to sign on with a NFL team again, and there probably isn't much more motivating his actions here, smart business decision!

Suppose he's figuring out his cause, a misguided one at that, isn't worth not paying the bills. I believe we need cop reforms, drug war reforms Jail reforms, young black male culture reforms, etc but to disrespect country while making those arguments is when he loses me. Now that Kaepernick isn't playing in NFL, he's most likely can't afford to support a certain lifestyle he's use to living. Some folks might be right here, the girlfriend might be driving this new found silence on this issue.
