I actually like General Kelly and think his record speaks volumes. He's a man of integrity and I'm hoping his influence will rub off on Trump.

The problem is that Trump doesn't have the media on his side. So the empty barrel representative is going to be portrayed in a positive light. That's the challenge here.

He ignores her, MSM runs with the story and the daily Trump bashing continues. At some point, he's got to say enough. He just says enough more often.
While I certainly agree with the overall sentiment; that Trump tends to bite off his own nose despite his face. I also realize the media is beyond partisan they are in full on democratic campaign mode attack of Trump. Trump is attacked by all quarters, like it or not. I believe this entire mess started at CNN; with trash reporting gotcha politics claiming President Trump doesn't call the Deceased Military members families.

Trump should indeed use his communications directors and spox. But that simply is not his style, like it or not. And let's be fair if you were attacked by all quarters and your own party, you would eventually pipe in and stick up for yourself. Unless you were Romney or McCain fall guys, playing for the same uniparty team.

President Trump hired great men like Jim Mattis, John Kelly, and Rex Tillerson did he not?

What does that say about him?

How anyone could say that with a straight face after what our country has experienced in the past year.

If Obama had a son.

Those cops acted stupidly.

Cool clock ahmed.

Clinging bitterly to bible and guns.

War on women.

And meeting regularly with Deray, and AL and Jesse.

Yesterday democrats and Brian Fallon (HRC's guy, as NC posted) were attacking General Kelly. So kudos to you for this.

But let's get real if he were POTUS ya'll would'nt really like him any more than I did Obama. The country is divided and at this ugly stage it only ends with California getting their wish and breaking away in secession. Ya'll can elect Bernie or HRC, Obama again, have at it. But no bail-outs when you go broke or need actual police and military, deal?

Your focus becomes your reality. The media and left choose to focus on hatred, division, attacking and silencing their opponents, fake news, and identity politics.

They are not required to have a meltdown every time Trump opens his mouth, sends out a tweet, or takes a bite of ice cream.

You and the media have the option of focusing on the positive in this country and the world around you. You should try it out, being happy sure beats being a miserable prick all of the time. (not directed at you specifically, just lefties in general)

Democrats are lashing out at General Kelly, a four star general, combat veteran, and gold star parent while defending that fricking race baiting Clown Wilson.

America is watching.

Agreed, but the President should be held accountable to a certain level of truth. Blanketing every non Pro Trump news story as "fake" is condescending and doesn't make Trump a leader.

No, it started long before that. Remember when Bush and Cheney lied about finding WMD's in Iraq?

That he's constantly hiring?

He also hired Tom Price, Sebastian Gorka, Scaramucci, Steve Bannon, Reince Priebus, Sean Spicer, and Michael Dubke, Walter Schaub, etc. The list goes on.

What does this say about our President? I mean, seriously, he thought hiring Scaramucci was a good idea.

No, I actually really like Kelly. I'd honestly vote for him if he were running, regardless of party affiliation. I sincerely mean that.

Since you're using Rex Tillerson as an example of a great man, didn't he call Trump a "f*cking moron?"
