Speaks about the heart of how things we used to hold sacred are now gone and talks about his own sons death in combat.

And he said to me, what do I say? I said to him, sir, there’s nothing you can do to lighten the burden on these families.

Well, let me tell you what I told him. Let me tell you what my best friend, Joe Dunford, told me — because he was my casualty officer. He said, Kel, he was doing exactly what he wanted to do when he was killed. He knew what he was getting into by joining that 1 percent. He knew what the possibilities were because we’re at war.

this is the money shot IMO, the fact that Trump took the time to ask Gen. Kelly for council, reveals his heart

I love how he mentioned how religion and other things that we used to hold sacred are gone... he’s not happy.

As a former Marine myself, General Kelly still inspires me beyond words. If I were 49 years younger tomorrow, I would do it all again for leaders such as he.

OORAH, Marine!

I used to like to say "my biggest regret was never serving", but it wasn't really true - I never wanted to serve.

My biggest regret was being too shy to like Katie back in 4th grade (even though I secretly liked her for a year) because I was afraid of being teased.

NPR this morning was disparaging Kelly by saying things like "women were never held high, they were disrespected. We just talk about it more now" and "our country has a history of not holding people of different ethnicities, cultures and backgrounds high"

Total progressive American hating filth

yeah, I was actually trying to steer him into the Navy, or into Air Force ROTC because he isn't quite as athletic as his brothers, but yeah it warmed my heart and I can't stop thinking about it

At first Kelly rolled his eyes at trump and his intent to destroy the democrats

But now that the democrats have pissed on his sons grave, Kelly will not stop until every democrat is purged from this country

We're seeing a real live uncucking here folks
