when his big buddy from Calif., Kevin Mc Carthy< got kicked out as Speaker.
So in anger that little MFer voted against La. Majority Leader Scalise for Speaker of the House.
All you BR residents also need to remember he also help push the GOP voting for the 2 year long Omnibus budget bill across the line causing a deficit of 2 BILLION dollars per year to be added to our already existing 33 Trillion dollar debt.
Need to primary this crazy arse RHINO next election! ! !

Graves is an absolute a-hole. Self interest in only his own financial enrichment from office. The Clio Fields of the GOP.

Need a replacement for him.
I’m not interested in having Don Cazayoux as a fricking placeholder again until someone who isn’t retarded gets the nomination.

Could it be the black vote in his district ?

They will reflexively vote for any retard with a D behind their name, meaning an automatic runoff opponent for him if he doesn’t beat 50%.
Makes it hard for a challenger to beat him without having enough clout to seriously damage him.

Because he gets things done in our district.
He s also help out our mayor’s scam to ram through a storm water fee.
You guys mind your own business.

Serious question, not a "setup question", but how so?

Yes Gaetz is great theater. He’s really got the GOP headed in the right direction.

Because he's actually done things for his district.
New MS River bridge (the holdup is the Corp and the state), expansion of I-10 from Lobdell to 10/12 split, removing the penalty of HUD seeing a fricking grant as being the same as a loan (thus deducting loan amounts from grants in emergency declarations), getting the Comite Diversion project running after the Corp has sat on it for decades and a few other things.
During all of that he pretty much kept his head down (saying out of the political drama) and focused on working for his district. It was only since McCarthy became Speaker (and that INEXCUSABLE budget bullshittery he helped create) that he's begun fricking up (and he's gone from 0 to full-bore DC Swamp Clone in an impressive amount of time).
My guess is the lobby money finally got to him. If so, it proves the old saying: money doesn't change people, it unmasks them.

Lololol.
Let me let you know a political secret, ALL politicians take credit for shite they had nothing to do with. If it rained money in Baton Rouge Graves would put out a commercial about how he worked tirelessly to make that weather happen.

Maybe, but he took out a Speaker, which I don’t think has ever been done; and, everything he said in that rebuttal was pretty much true, like him or not… he actually DID something

He does actually get things done for BR, and he’s actually been really responsive whenever I have contacted his office.
However, sometimes you have to just not be butthurt and do what’s right for the state.

I gave you an up vote for being creative. He did do something.

The Comite canal floundered for thirty years. Graves got it rolling.
The mayor claimed the Feds swore them to secrecy, but Graves exposed that was BS.
Graves pushed the mayor to get off her arse and use the flood mitigation money the Feds sent us.
I don’t agree with his climate position, but he’s done a lot of good for our area.

I don’t like either one of them they’re both slimy and swampy
