If Republicans had any balls they would do it. But they don’t so they won’t. It wouldn’t be nice.

Par for the course for the board. “Let’s replace this person who votes how I prefer 90% of the time with someone who will vote against my interests 100% of the time. That will show them!!.”

It is an incredibly moronic outlook.

Still no, you don’t eliminate one of the more senior/well-situated members of the state delegation. Seniority is basically all that matter for committee and subcommittee power in Congress.

If you have to get rid of a Republican, it’s Letlow.

Why not just preliminary him out?

I’ll take “Why are people on the PoliBoard so facking stupid?” for $500, Alex.

It’s “primary”.

They may just do that. Remember Graves endorsed Wags for governor, so payback can always be a bitch. If the Republicans were smart, they could come up with a Republican minority district. Create a minority district 60/40 black with a strong conservative voting block in the 40 and either a weaker black voting block (they don’t turn out) or a stuff all the black precincts that would be willing to vote Republican.

Hey Garret.

I’m sorry that you don’t understand how Congress works or how much seniority/leadership positions matter in getting things done for Louisiana.

But Graves was on the other side in nonsensical and meaningless internal GOP drama so we should draw him out of Congress.

Let's see:

Graves has openly opposed and made enemies of Jeff Landry, Steve Scalise and Mike Johnson.

If Louisiana is forced to redistrict, Garrett Graves is toast. End of story

These threads are always entertaining.. so few actually dive into what he’s done, who he’s aligned with and what major policy positions he pushes.

In your first sentence you claim he backstabbed to fellow La members but the ironic aspect is how different each of those members are to each other.. maybe dive a bit deeper into what he did and said.. there’s things to disagree with graves on but republicans are killings themselves by narrowly viewing members viewpoints without the totality of their initiatives..

Absolutely correct. Fetterman can conceivably eventually become Chair of the Intelligence Committee if he stays in office long enough because of Seniority.

And I agree that Letlow needs to go. She voted with the DemProgFilth way too often and is still getting a state taxpayer funded paycheck from ULM for a job they are holding for her while drawing her Fed paycheck.
