quote:

“Don’t let the legalese fool you,” she opened. “This is epic. This is monumental. If things are going in the direction we think, Fani Willis lied to the court, it’s game over for her. She will be disqualified. If they had a relationship prior to when they represented truth to the court, it’s a huge deal. I can’t overstate.”

quote:

Polisi added further context in a statement to Mediaite, saying, “Willis will be disqualified, which means her entire office is disqualified, which means the case will have to be re-assigned and languish with the PAC of Georgia, effectively killing the case. Her credibility is completely shot.”

We willingly launched ourselves into a full frontal attack on an obvious trap

Hopefully it works out

Seems a rather myopic perspective of all this, if you’re saying what I think you are saying.

NYC case though was always slated on the docket for March.

You want to talk about a stale pretzel infested with fleas, this is it. The Feds turned this down. It ought to be dimissed....but it won't. The GA case has more legitimacy in comparison and that's with Willis and everyone DQ

I'm saying that its been extremely obvious for over a year what their plan was, and that he would be convicted of something before November, and at the very least both his campaign and the RNC would be broke before then.

They knew, and were very right, that all of this would make the Primary easy as hell for him, but would crush him come November (the polling reflects this, if he is convicted of anything he loses Independents by like 60+ points).

We had a chance to outflank them but instead launched ourselves directly into their trap.

Now you have to hope that actual issues (that will largely be ignored during the process because the central focus will be trials) take center stage somehow and that the American public doesn't blink at the lawfare.

If there is eventually a criminal investigation for various misdeeds that leads to a conviction, I hope Orange GEOTUS is magnanimous enough to visit her on visiting day.

My assumption was that they would keep putting it off because they know it is an absolute dog of a case, legally, and allow other cases that are "better" to go first.

To reference Dune, the first step in avoiding a trap is knowing it is there. But sidestepping it completely may be more dangerous than going into a known trap and countering it.

Shitlibs stepping on a rake for the one case they actually may have had against Trump is high comedy

Imagine typing all of that and thinking this government is going to be saved

We’re fricked. Might as well make money and try as best you can to ignore this.

Considering they haven’t removed the guy who was labeled mentally incompetent to stand trial from the ballot, I’m not sure this is a slam dunk for them as of now.

Black female democrats with power usually are “nasty” among other things.
