In the context of Trump's failure to lead his party to a victory on this issue, I think it is fair to refer to his as the head of the party. He has the largest bully pulpit in the world. That means he should be getting the party on board whether by hook or crook as it were.

Well I'll just say that all men are the men in the family but that doesn't necessarily mean they wear the pants in the family.

The problem is on healthcare Trump sides with the GOP and Democrat moderates. So he's really is for some form of socialized medicine. Remember this quote during the campaign, "we can't have people dying in the streets."

IMO Trump wants to fully repeal Obamacare then have government system for the poors and pre-existings and free market for everyone else.

During the election I was expecting the GOP to pull Trump right on most issues. The problem is they are pulling him left on most issues.

Trump is further right than the GOPe on the following issues:

Health insurance: the GOPe wants to move toward single payer. Trumps wants a safety net for the poors and pre-existings.

Immigration: the GOPe wants amnesty. Trump wants border security with a wall and immigrants to follow the law an order process to become citizens.

Taxes: the GOPe wants tax reform that protects their corporate donors. Trumps tax plan is more conservative.

Spending: Trump's proposed budget and spending cuts are too much for the GOPe. The GOPe is fine with Obama era CRs that still contain the 2009 Trillion dollar stimulus.

who bumped this thread, and why?

Anybody can be Speaker. I say--- Louie Gohmert, Amash, DeMint, or Rand Paul.

Getting rid of Ryan was always the plan. Obamacare will still be repealed. This was a bad bill designed to get rid of Ryan.

Special kind of dumb...

Never thought I'd say this, but I think you're a better poster when you just stick to your usual "melt" posts.

Be fair, he may have said that back in March. Someone bumped this thread for whatever reason. This threadf started way before OCare repeal was pushed through.
