I'm sure it's coming. Their playbook is as deep as a Waffle House menu.

The comments are pretty good as well. The guy seems pretty witty and seems to go after the blowhards on both sides… good for him.

Well duh, is so correct. I won't say any names but even firebrands in DC do this. It is cyclical.

There are always one or two that run to a microphone and or go on Hannity and speak about the corruption, they never truly do anything about.

They are now there just to maybe expose & write books. Without a proper DOJ we are a banana republic.

They HAVE THE POWER. If one of them stopped the GangOf8-- in a silo from stopping any real corruption. The 8 are there to obstruct not rep us.

Even this freshman from NC will be subjected to deals of getting wealthy. If he is a team player. (Remember the guy that reported some kind of a sex orgy and coke party?)

The overhaul that is needed in govt is so vast we need a complete reboot. They need to serve short terms and have real jobs ready on the outside. No more career politicians.

They are not outraged over the issue. They want us to be outraged.

That's why Repuclicans don't push back when they are called racists. They want us fighting over race. They want us fighting over abortion - intensity over the abortion issue was waning, so they reversed Roe V Wade and the heat got turned up. They want us fighting over immigration, guns, national debt, etc.

Those things are a distraction from the things they DON'T want us asking about: corruption, MIC wars, Jeffrey Epstein's clients, intelligence agencies, insider trading, corporate donors, etc...

RINOs are every bit as much of the problem as the Dems.

Negative. NC-14 is a newly-minted district and Jackson is the first to represent it.

Not sure if folks reading this dug in or not, but dude's a Democrat.

They really don’t. One Member of Congress really can’t do much on their own.

I couldn't agree more. That "career politician" would ever be a viable option would be enough for the Founding Fathers to take up arms again....

Or they'd throw their hands up and wonder why they even bothered.

The simplest prediction will be that his vision will soon become clouded with special interest money that miraculously finds its way into his inexplicably-boosted net worth.

Why else would he do it?

In a perfect world, he'd have the integrity to stand up to his colleagues and name names.

As others mentioned, Madison Cawthorn got smacked down with a quickness when he chirped up.

I'm sure he didn't go to DC to take a pay cut. I don't know what a "decent" lawyer makes but I'm sure it's more than a congressman.
