Just hoping Nugget shows up on this thread so I can ask him about Le Pen's husband and if that means France is doomed either way in his worldview.

Winston shouldn't you be rooting for the rich outsider to beat the career political insider running on the family name?

Bawdy Patriots, them! Me good mate from primary Jean-Lúc hails from Amiens- good folks from hardy stock there who are no stranger to a yeoman's day in the fields or the mines; and to that I do attest

vive Le Pen! Vive France! Vive Christendom!

quote:

Macron was booed and heckled as he made a chaotic visit to the under-threat factory in the nation's depressed northern rustbelt where Le Pen topped first round voting. Some in the crowd shouted "President Marine!" and booed as the 39-year-old former banker arrived outside the Whirlpool appliance factory in Amiens, where Le Pen had already made an unannounced stop.

And a few years before France becomes the Venezuela of Europe
Is Le Pen going to win then? Most of her policies are quite similar to Venezuela's?

Again. Who are you talking about?

The person who wants to:

Nationalize banks?
Restrict religious freedoms?
Significantly increase corporate taxes?
Ban nuclear power?

Because that person reminds me a lot of some type of authoritarian whether socialist/communist or fascist.

That person is Le Pen.
