If you listen to what Trump is saying about that not having a single Democrat vote and how he is going to wait until it starts imploding and Democrats decide to come to the table.
He is effectively saying that he knows he can't deal with the Freedom Caucus so he is going to pivot and go further left.
Anything the Democrats come to the table on will further left than this bill was.

There are 2 Republicans parties, and they'll never get the Moderate side who wants ACA-lite to mesh with the pure repeal Conservatives.

What's funny is I highly suspect some of these true conservatives who got the bill bounced today were among the whisperers that pushed Ryan to oversee this lukewarm shite in the first place.
