The FFL does sort of exist for some sort of plausible deniability, but I don't think the French would send them into that crap.

The French have a variety of headgear that is hard to keep track of. Both wear the green but yes have different crests. On their sleeves though they have the commandos patch and the crossed anchors which goes with commandos marine. They executed the hostage rescue in Burkina Faso a few years back. Cost two their lives but saved the hostages, including Americans.

“Canada stands behind the French but, at this time, cannot commit an Avro Aero to their cause because they are currently blasting an invasive species of Pitbull off of the planet.”
More correspondence to follow when Justina Trudeaus fingers have been moistened to allow him to operate the keyboard his aid uses.

Don't frick with the French Paratroopers. They are some tough dudes as is the FFL. They have been doing a lot of dirty work in Africa. It's just not reported much over here.

You talking about the Huberts? Those guys jump into some real hellholes . In 1978 they went into someplace in Central Africa to rescue European hostages and if reports are to believed , eliminated hundreds of enemy in about 45 minutes
