I’m sure France unilaterally invaded Russia with 2000 troops, but the only person who knows about it is some random Twitter account.

Without going down the rabbit hole on the account, I'd expect it's operating from the current pro-Russia position that Ukraine is part of Russia (contra all of Russia's signed treaties recognizing the sovereignty of Ukraine, of course), ergo from the Russian perspective France would be invading Russia by sending troops to Ukraine.

Bad move but this will probably be the future and a significant number of US troops will probably be involved as well.

Well, France has threatened to send troops to Ukraine. If they do, this will mean two nuclear powers will be at war.

Not a good thing. And we should distance ourselves from this insanity asap.

Seems like you’re justifying sending significant numbers of NATO troops to Ukraine.

So the “we’re just sending money and weapons to Ukraine not troops”…that’s over now?

If it happens, you’ll have seals here clapping for it.

Watch.

Remind me, is "to be deployed" past tense, present tense or future tense?

Even the source you're using acknowledges this is, at best, speculative.

Who is "we", baw? Are you French? France is a sovereign nation that can deploy troops independent of NATO.

Well isn’t this the consensus of the poliboard? Let Europe deal with it? Europe is trying to deal with it on their own now.

Don't worry, they will surrender soon enough.

I had a gym buddy who was British SAS and wounded in Iraq. He said French regular forces were bad but their special force units were as good as the Americans.
Not sure if they're involved in this 'invasion.'

Pretty sure if France invaded Russia, more people would know than just some mayonnaise white dude living in America who likely sells insurance

This was definitely relevant, I’m much more inclined to take the word of a chocolate black dude. Mayonnaise white… no thanks.

France has always been pretty friendly with Russia. This would be very surprising.

Some say a comet will fall from the sky
Followed by meteor showers and tidal waves
Followed by fault lines that cannot sit still
Followed by millions of dumbfounded dipshits

I'm ready.
