Not jumping in here with the Islam in Britain argument, but that number is bullshite for the U.S.

Most credible census estimates have Islam in America as less than 1%. You'd have enclaves and ghettos all over America (and about 13 million Muslims) if that were the case. Outside of maybe one neighborhood in Minneapolis, I don't think such a thing exists.

My impression is that political Islam is much worse in France, but I don't have too much experience there. I think the UK has integrated Muslims - mostly of the South Asian variety - into their culture much, much better than France - Tunisians and Algerians - has into theirs.
