You're kidding right?

Bush 43 committed the worst decision you could ever possibly make as far as foreign policy goes with the iraq bullshite and removing saddam. It's even worse than Vietnam.

He set off a powder keg and induced anarchy and chaos in the mideast that to this day still hasn't calmed down which gave rise to isis and the refugee crisis that's tearing Europe apart.

It's a decision so catastrophic my generation will spend its entire life paying for.

I'd accept that challenge. Another time, perhaps.

I do agree with Trump on Snowden, though.

quote:

“I think Snowden is a terrible threat, I think he’s a terrible traitor, and you know what we used to do in the good old days when we were a strong country — you know what we used to do to traitors, right?”

WTF? He and one other crewman bailed out but unfortunately that person's parachute didn't open. The third person went down with the plane. What is wrong with you?

Yep, people are just plain assholes these days. Good example of someone talking out of their arse about something they probably read on a message board or some other dumbass told them.

Not at all.

Clinton was fricking up Iraq long before W even had a chance at it.

I love that you went straight to the leave Saddam in power bullshite. That leads perfectly into Obama. He took a bad situation and completely ran it into the fricking ground. All three share blame for it, but W gets the most with you because his name happened to be attached.

I have no objection to sober arguments that the Bush family's leadership was ultimately poor. But these are people who largely cheered GWB until Trump arrived and the narrative shifted to anti-establishment.

But now, not only is the Bush family (41 and 43 are at least decent human beings by pretty much all accounts) responsible for shitty leadership, they're awful people and probably traitors too.

Let's be blunt. If Trump started singing the praises of the Bush family next week, which could happen if 41 passes, there would be a huge reversal in tone on this board.

Dead on. A problem with the Internet is that while it's enlightened the population to some degree, it's also allowed people with mediocre-to-below average intelligence, maturity, education, and class (aka white trash) to participate in groupthink.

It encourages everyone to have an opinion on everything. Once upon a time, I remember hearing people say things like "oh I don't really pay attention to politics." You never hear that anymore.

I appreciate the concept of the evil global elites being "out of touch". But what makes these motherfrickers think they're "in touch?" They think they are informed enough to comment on Aleppo, OPEC, intelligence gathering methods, tax plans, the mechanics of the central bank, and GHWB's course of action when bailing out of a plane over the Pacific.

Not a big fan of Bush, like my feelings of John Lewis & John McCain, what you did a lifetime ago doesn't absolve you of what you are doing today

But you're outrage over this
quote:

He bailed with men still in the plane

Which you refute with
quote:

The third person went down with the plane.

isn't well thought out

Bush was a CIA cuck, NWO protagonist, with the Rockefellers, etc.

Reagan never liked the social climbing silver spoon in the pocket of globalism baby.

Seriously don't forget this. Bush is a horrible person.

I believe he and others wanted this disruption and chaos.

He didn't start it, but I do remember him getting on TV and threatening to lock up all the MJ smokers.

I think a lot of people simply liked his image and admired how he carried himself, and that distorts their view on his actual presidency.

Bush I was the 2nd best president of my lifetime, after clinton.

He was a good man that deeply loved america. His son was a fricktard, but he loved america too. We just had wildly different visions.

And its pretty hard to frick up a funeral, trump could do it, but its pretty hard to do.

And in the end, he didn't need Bush to win in 1980. It's a shame he didn't pick someone else.
