She was the wife of President Jimmy Carter. President Carter has been in hospice care for months. I figured he'd be the first to go. I doubt it'll be too long now for him. That's the way these things usually go.

She seemed to be a sweet and gracious southern lady.

RIP Rosalynn.

The Carters are good Americans. Not so good policy, but good people.

By all accounts she was. I'm genuinely surprised that Jimmy outlived her. He's been in hospice on his deathbed for what... a year?

Very true. My dad was older and sicker than my mom. But he hung on to take care of her. He died a few weeks after her funeral.

I'd like to consider the Carters decent people, but I haven't seen them call out the authoritarian left enough for that to be the case.

To be fair, I'd say politics isn't exactly the first thing on their minds.

Wrong. Jimmy is a stone cold anti-Semite.

Shouldn't be. Allowing himself to be photographed with the most authoritarian presidents in our nation's history is a tacit endorsement of those men. And no, I'm not just talking about in public engagements.

You can't pose for pictures with the Bidens, never rebuke the things they do, and expect people to come to any conclusion other than you agree with everything they're doing.

Just wait till you see how the media will react when Carter dies. The positive comparisons to Biden will be neverending.
