They DJT comes along nominates a person to implode the status quo they complain about, and the has congress announce a bill eliminating the DOE and low and behold now Government is the only way we can educate our kids.

The future is bright for the kids of this great land thanks to DJT.

I have a friend that is a teacher, and super liberal, that tried saying she is the equivalent to a blogger about airplane travel being nominated to be the head of the FAA.

I honestly don't know much about this topic, but figured as usual with liberals, he was way over the top with his comparison.

Her job isn't to lead the DOE it's to lead in the abolishment of it. For that you need a person with some business sense to dismantle the current funding system and restructure it for school choice vouchers.

I am excited that my child will be raised in a more successful American education system.

How much of school finding do you think comes from the federal government?

What is there to prove? We are behind fricking Liechtenstein in math and science. The wealthiest country in the planet can't even break the top 15 in education.

The system has been broke for years we finally have somebody with the balls to tackle fixing it.

Had this discussion with some school administrators and found out quite a bit. All that technology you see in the classrooms. It's not your property taxes paying for it.

We do not need a Department of Education. If Betsy is there to abolish it, I say amen.

Most teachers are emotionally driven complaint machines. They simultaneously hate the status quo but also refuse to try anything new.

It's quite the conundrum. But basically what you'd expect from a majority female profession.

How will dismantling the Doe fix education in America? I'm not arguing that the DOE plays an integral role... I think it doesn't really add or take away anything significant.

You're describing the average poli board poster.
