Just remember....
He says the FBI in testimony should not be political and should hold itself to a higher standard yet proceeded to leak his own memos to do what exactly? To harm the president. He also admits that he allowed the DOJ Lynch to influence him in the Clinton Email matter. He's a complete and total disaster.

He also said the President is a liar and outlined how the President obstructed justice.
Like him or not, he believes he released his memos to protect America.
Not liking the President doesn't have to be political or partisan if the President actually committed crimes.

Well this isn't really the case
He called Trump a liar about Comey's firing. The Administration lied about Comey's firing.

How did Trump obstruct justice? If Trump has the constitutional authority to pardon Michael Flynn, how does he not have the inherent authority to request an investigation into Flynn's dealings end?

I've read most of the commentary, and seen that Comey said the president "lied", but has it been discussed or said what exactly the president lied to the American public and the FBI?

He is a total talk out of both sides of his mouth person. He has proven it over and over again in many forums for public consumption. He will say what ever it is you want to hear him say as it pertains to whom is asking the questions. Just don't mess with his Eagle Scout status. I am ashamed to know this man was given that prestigious award and represents scouts everywhere. If he were stronger he would speak with clear purpose to all that confront him. I could not imagine him as a military leader, let alone head of the nations top law enforcement agency.

Too bad he didn't believe Hillary did anything wrong when she destroyed subpoenaed evidence.

Comey said the POTUS lied about why he was fired.
That's it.
Now that is not to say that Trump didn't lie about other things, but the specific "Trump lied" assertion was about the reasons Comey was fired.

Why didn't the Boy Scout write memos to protect America after Lynch directed him to use the Clinton campaign language instead of "investigation"? After all, he said he was deeply disturbed about the direction.

But Lynch got a pass...even AFTER she VERBALLY pressured him to play politics and taint a criminal Investigation of Hillary. A Hillary whom he called a MAJOR Presser to - after documenting her CRIMES - then said that she had no "intent" and that "no honest Prosecutor would bring charges".
