Folks, I've come to the sad realization it has to be DeSantis.

Trump will never be allowed to govern effectively. The America First agenda will have to rely on BDR to see it through the finish line.
I am concerned DeSantis can be bought. He can be swayed. He will be GWB. That is very concerning.
That said, by Jan 2025, America will be in such a state that it will require drastic measures and firm leadership that can sweep the prog filth aside without gaslighting the media.
I like Trump. I prefer him. DeSantis is the answer though for America at this time.
Culture wars are fun. Trump's a culture warrior that can fight. Right now we beed a rebuilder that can also fight.
DeSantis will go down as better than Reagan.

At this point, it is not about governing effectively. If Joe Biden had done NOTHING, we would be better off than we are when his administration is issuing EOs and getting us into foreign wars.

DeSantis is more tactful. Trump for all his good intentions, didn't give a frick how the opposition perceived him. Which is why he had so much support from everyone on this board.
DeSantis is a smooth operator and has the facts and figures to put the left in their place. It needs to be him for the sake of the GOP and a legitimate chance to win.

If you want to win, it has to be DeSantis. If you want to lose but do it with your middle finger up to the world, pick Trump. They will not let him win. If you believe they stole it in 2020, what makes you believe they won't again?

I don't see it quite that way. DeSantis is very much like Trump. They believe pretty much in the exact same things. But I do believe DeSantis would handle the shite media "better" than Trump.
I put quotes around "better" because what I mean by that. I love the way Trump handles the media by just going after them, but I don't know if that actually grew his support or just grew the support of his already supporters. Oh, it was such great joy and entertainment seeing Trump shite on "reporters". I think Trumps fans grew during and since his presidency though. Not sure how much..
But I think DeSantis could very well pull more independents to lean right and grow the party or at least change the way people think about the Republican party.. to at least give it a look or a chance.
Not sure why I think that... just kinda the way I see it.
