FISA Warrant Request?

Couldn't watch today...Was Comey asked about the FISA warrant request that was reported about in WAPO NYT for the Trump Tower server? The one that was originally denied because it was too broad and then revised and granted...

1)He said he couldn't comment on ongoing investigations.
2)He claimed he knew of no evidence of anyone tapping Trump Tower. He did make an odd comment thereafter saying that "false" and "no evidence" should be conflated.
So he was pretty useless the entire hearing.
