Created a black super majority district to give democrats a sure seat.
Got his man on the Blue Cross board to allow the sale to for profit Elevance go through.
Sending National Guards to Texas when we don't even have an international border.

Color me unimpressed so far

False. Legislature was ordered to create the district or else the liberal judge would. Why lie?

Provide evidence please of what you are implying. Not the article about the board, but evidence of the whole "allow sale to for profit Elevance go through".

As a neighboring state to Texas, that is also seeing an influx of illegals (notice all the syphillis billboard), i applaud any governor doing whats needed to save the country when POTUS is intent on destroying it.

SO what personal affront did Landry do to you? Did you work in his office and get fired? Did you go to law school with him and you're just insanely jealous of someone you though was dumb? What is your personal gripe that triggers you so hard about landry?

You could have really wrapped up that map in legal heel and extended. The map drawn right now is so racist it's not even funny.

For somebody who wanted to sue if the bcbs deal went through, he is singing quite a different tune. Just read the article in nola.com

Explain how this works.

Yeah, that's what the court ORDERED. And popular opinion being shared is that it was intentionally drawn this way to go further up the ladder to the Supreme Court. Again, Landry didn't draw the map, the Louisiana Legislature did.

You still have failed to provide any relevant link backing your claims. Again, not the link of the sale, but the link of teh reasoning you are claiming the sale happened.

I don't read that liberal asswipe and i'm not paying those retards money to view their propaganda.

So tell us the REAL reason you don't like Landry. It's one of the reasons i listed above, isn't it?

Those are in English. I don’t think the people coming over illegally are directly the cause here though they may be getting fricked and spreading it.

The unmitigated spread coincides with the increase in illegal immigration. It's not the sole cause, but it is a big factor.

The comment was made in jest, being that STD's are not the greatest threat to unmitigated illegal immigration, but it is yet another check mark on the list of why illegal immigration is detrimental to our state and country.

He only wanted to sue if it didn’t benefit him personally. Apparently that problem was solved.

I’m sure Elevance will be a top donor for his next campaign.

I didn’t vote for Landry, but

At the point of a gun the Legislature had to draw it up or risk a Federal judge doing worse. Landry was between a rock and a hard place.

I thought policy holders had to vote on it?

That's fair, but does that change what Landry said?

quote:

In a speech to almost 200 Louisiana hospital executives last week, Gov. Jeff Landry touted the potential benefits of the controversial $2.5 billion sale of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana to one of the country's largest insurers, Elevance Health of Indianapolis.

He told the Louisiana Hospital Association he isn’t pushing for the sale, which will go before state regulators later this month. The governor does not have legal authority over the deal, which is subject only to Insurance Commissioner Tim Temple and Blue Cross policyholders.

Still, Landry’s comments echoed arguments used by Blue Cross executives over the past year to justify why the Baton Rouge-based nonprofit — which has more than 60 percent of the commercially insured customers in the state — should sell to a much larger, for-profit company.

Seems like Landry is trying to say he is for the deal, without saying he is for the deal.

Sometimes, you actually have to govern. Fighting this would have made it worse. We need to get better people in Washington so this foolishness doesn't happen. We weren't winning this one in the courts.

Do not like this at all.

frick Jeff Landry. He has always been and will continue to be a fraud. I didn’t vote for him, I voted for Schroeder. An actual conservative.

You're missing the good stuff below the radar.

Landry is requiring all state agencies to use a specific blue, textured ink printed letterhead for correspondence, rather than the free photocopied letterhead they have been using for years. The result is a massive, multimillion dollar expense for printing formal letterhead. What I haven't been able to find out yet is who is getting the money.

It's this kind of thing that Landry will do the entire time he is in office--shovel money to friends.
