I have a theory all feminists simply weren't loved by their dads. Since wimmin desperately want everyone else to suffer if/since they did, they crusade against men as a means of leveling the playing field against other women. "If I didn't have a good dad, why should anyone else?"

Many of them are frustrated by life and resort to a fringe ideology as a way of explaining their failure. It's the same as any fringe ideology - Black Lives Matter, white supremacy, jihadism, the Beta males, etc.

I have roughly the same story. Little sister went away to elite coastal university. After gaining a phD in Mesopotamian languages or something thereabout, she can't understand why she isn't more successful. Her feminism and leftism has become more strident with each passing year of mediocrity.

I discovered Camille Paglia yesterday and have been watching videos of her since. Her world view is extremely comprehensive, maybe even more so than Ayn Rand, and because she's a 70 year old lesbian feminist people actually kinda entertain what she has to say for a minute. She needs to be recognized as a pioneer of a movement that if contained within the limits of reality could do some real good for some women in this country rather than a mass youth blind following of liberal talking points.
