Female commentators in sports

Maybe this is the wrong board for this matter, but it just seems so disingenuous for ESPN and the like to bring in these female commentators for games. I'm watching MLB and there's a woman in the broadcast team giving commentary. As a guy, it just doesn't work to listen to a woman and take something from what she says. It just doesn't compute. They did it during the NBA playoffs too. Women just don't belong in that role , giving commentary. Even if they know what they're talking about, to me, it's hard to gain anything from it. When it's a guy talking, we can relate, as if the guy has been in that position, on the field, he's played the game, he knows the game. When a woman is in that role, it's like throwing a curve ball at your mind. My brain just shuts off when it's a woman trying to explain pitching mechanics, or talk about a knuckle ball. Get em out of there!! It's stupid! Is there a shortage of male commentators??? ESPN and their ilk are doing this to diversify. It's ridiculous. Women don't belong in the conversation. I'm sorry, it's just awkward. It's like when I go to Home Depot or Lowe's for something. If there's a female employee and a male employee and I need some type of expertise or help with something, it's just natural to think that the male employee will be more helpful, that's it's possible he's done that type of project, that he's actually used the tool I am considering to buy. It's just this forced diversity that's going on EVERYWHERE!!! But it's just particularly annoying to me when I'm watching sports. Thanks ESPN.

Most men don't care what women have to say in just about any setting.
Exceptions...
Dinner is ready
I'm not pregnant
Would you like another beer

This is pretty far from the list of things that bother me. Normally I'm fairly chauvinistic, but lately I've been just not caring. Not that I support it, I just don't care.
Just like I don't care if women are hiring on to the shite jobs that men do every day, like construction, garbage collection, w/e.

And every movie and TV show has some lesbian that has a magical power that makes them faster and stronger than the men villains. When the shite hits the fan women won't last a day without protection by men.

ESPN would have a mega law suit if they didn't include women. So you are flapping your virtual gums over nothing, plus proving you are a big, if creepy, man on an anonymous website.
Some women are pretty good. Maria Taylor all by herself made SEC Nation a better show than College Game Day. I think I heard she was leaving.

I read somewhere that their periods attract bears

Did you know that there are women who actually use tools? Women who are competent DIY'ers?
Source: a woman who uses tools almost daily on various DIY projects.

Right dude- when I see a female police officer I just ignore what she says or run over her with my big pickup truck because of my tiny dick. :

The women announcers are always super prepared imo.
Home Depot same thing - especially if you find a dyke-y looking one

Some female commentators are good just like some males are terrible.
Good: Maria Taylor, Jessica Mendoza, Jenn Brown, Suzy Kolber
Bad: Joe Buck, Tony Siraguso, Petros Papadakis (sp), etc.

This ain't got nothing to do with the Civil War so why are you even here?

Big difference in sitting at an Anchor Desk or a Sideline Reporter, over ESPN trying trying to pawn off a woman softball player, Jessica Mendoza, as an expert baseball analyst, in the name of PC.

Sorry but Joe Buck is really good - especially with baseball.
