A source with knowledge of his testimony confirmed to Fox News that Moffa said FBI personnel would use media reports based on information they leaked to justify applications for Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrants.
The source told Fox News that Moffa acknowledged this “had been a practice in the past.”

Half the population believes it was justified, given the danger of Trump at the Wheel. They've abandoned Equal Justice/Rule of Law...so...all that remains to be seen if whether Trump is willing to bring the 'heat', and risk highly likely blood in the streets.
Will be interesting to see how the consummate 'deal maker' finesses this. My bet, He'll let em' walk - all but the worst, Obama and Hillary exempted of course, for obvious reasons - if They'll (what's left) let Him clean out the Bureaucracy. Already flipping the Courts...and with a booming economy...is virtual anarchy worth it? No...IMHO. Too costly. Learn, forgive, and move forward.

That was obvious. They used the articles based on their leaks as independent 3rd party sources to help justify their FISA warrants. It's a lie bolstered by the same lie.
