It’s really simple why politics is devoid of substance right now: The orange buffoon creates the news cycle. He sets the narrative every morning with his asinine tweets.
Let’s pretend for a second Trump, and the media, decide to ‘sweep the slate clean’ today. What would happen? That’s easy:
—If the Apprentice all of a sudden got cancelled, Trump would tweet the next day how he was the best thing for the show, and everyone else sucked.
—If Kim Jong Un shot off a missile, Trump would tweet about raining fire and fury on him until there was nothing left.
—If the NFL has stupid protests occurring, Trump would interject his dumbass into the controversy, because he hates the NFL.
There is no political discourse with substantive information in it because Trump sets the damn table every morning with his dumbshite. And if I were a lawmaker, I wouldn’t trust his judgement for shite and would hold my nose in any agenda he tried to push until a grown-up gets elected to the WH, and they can close the current adult day-care center residing in it
