Explain To Me How The Actions Of The MSM and The Left Today Will Help Dems In The Long Run

I've stated here many times I'm a former Dem fanboy that turned IND in the 2010 time frame.
I've voted for more Dems in my life than I will ever vote IND or Rs. I'm responsible for the likes of Bill Clinton, Kip Holden, Mary Landrieu, Kathleen Blockhead, etc. It is a long list.
In 2008 I voted for Hilldawg in the primary because I worried what Obama would do if he won the White House with his radical associations.
By 2010 it was clear to me the Democrat Party, outside of the Presidential win in 2012, was in trouble due to the fact that it was going wwwaaaaaayyyyyy too far left.
Fast forward 7 years and 1100+ seats lost on the local, state, and federal level, the Democrat Party outside of NY and CA is in big trouble.
The fact that someone like Trump won the presidency only solidifies how bad things are, however, I still can't support the spineless Republicant's. It is impossible for me to do so.
So I have to wonder as I watch this assault on Trump on a daily basis: How will this help the Democrat Party? I would love to go back, but you see, I just can't.
As much as I can't stand Trump, Sessions, etc, I just can't see myself siding with the opposition that is there now. No way.
Watching the media do what it is doing now actually makes me appreciate having an R in the WH. Why? Because they will actually do their "job". Only problem is now, their job appears to be making up complete BS out of thin air in order to create narratives for their ilk to cry about.
You proggies can mock Trump's "approval ratings" all day with your polls that have already been shite on, but the problem is the mediums that promote this narrative you are spewing....well, guess what geniuses? Americans hate them even more than Trump. Check out Schumer's approval, Pelosi's approval, and then look at how the lying MSM is viewed. And because of this, I've grown to detest Democrats on the far left far more than I ever detested Replicant's. Believe me, like most former Proggies, I held a lot of hate in my heart for anything R.
As much as I hate Trump, this "Russians" thing is laughable to me. It is similar to "Hands up Don't Shoot" or "white Hispanic". You idiots on the FAR left are being used and you are STILL too stupid to realize it. Continuing to piss off average Americans with daily faux outrage and lies isn't going to help the party rebound at all....or am I missing something?

Long run? It won't matter in 10 years, but it could help dems in the short run if Trump is found to have done something wrong.

The Media Machine is nothing short of scary right now. And their process is obvious to any thing person but the sheer concerted blitzkreig of misinformation is stunning.

They'd rather run against Mike Pence in 2020 than an incumbent Trump, who already beat the shite out of them. Pence represents every social issue that lost elections for Republicans since 2008, and right now that's a winning strategy for Democrats.

Look at his ratings In just 100 days. Plummeting fast. Think how much damage they can do to him in 4 years. I don't think it's as much about impeachment to the man as it is about wearing out the voters and him being unelectable in 2020.
You gotta figure Dems will run someone better than hrc. Anyone else and trump wouldn't be president. As this pace they could run Charles Manson in 2020 and he's likely beat trump.

Again, 2016 wasn't about trump being so great as much as hrc being that horrible. And she still won the popular vote handily. 40,000 votes in 3 states made the entire difference. That's a slim margain for trump.

I feel the same way. Independent but came from the R side. No offense but democrats are vile. Not the everyday ones, like on this board or most of the constituents, but the actual politicians. Pair them with the media & it is downright scary!

With all this hysteria, if Mueller comes back and says Trump is innocent, or even worse he uncovers something Dems did, the media and democrats will be a joke, granted many already think this, but many more will no longer consider them at all relevant
