Unfortunately, not only do we have a universal suffrage system but now we have ballot harvesting.
That means that the we have shifted from a voting system to a ballot system.
A vote in person and in a private voting booth is reliable as an expression of the individual's will.
In a ballot system you don't know if you are getting an individual's expression or not.
You might be, but you also might be getting one individual's will expressed multiple times. It's not reliable and therefore, not credible.

shouldn't we all be in favor of making voting as accessible as possible?
No. We have too many people voting that have no business participating in important decisions.
I contend that well fewer than half of registered voters would pass the citizenship test that we make prospective immigrants take prior to to their becoming American citizens.

I'd like them to apply this to the tax laws.

I listen to Trump's words. It's not as if he makes us read between the lines. He opens his fat fricking mouth and tells us what his intentions are.
While this is from 2016, it's more important than ever to view this with 2024 eyes, especially as we have witnessed what an illegitimate administration will do as they've run amok in DC under the false belief that they will get away with outright treason.

States must appoint electors. The Constitution doesn't give a whit one way or another how that is accomplished.
It used to be done by the legislative body of each state. President Washington is the only president to receive 100% of the vote of the electoral college. John Adams would have received 100% of the electoral college vote as well but he, being an appointed elector from his state in that election, voted against himself stating that only President Washington should ever be honored with a 100% vote from the electoral college.
There are times that I think it might not be such a bad idea for electors from each of the states to be appointed by their respective state legislatures to cast their electoral votes for the presidency. I'm still up in the air about that one.

It would definitely transfer a lot more weight to one's state representatives.
I'm still sore about the 17th Amendment taking the power of appointing Senators from the states and making it another glorified popularity contest like the House elections are. The way the Founders set it up was the House was to do the business of the people, while the Senate was to protect the interests of the states. The compromise that had to be met for a bill to be passed in order to be signed into law by POTUS meant that both entities had to be happy with the legislation.

Seems like something the USSC should hear about.

This is why they are not concerned about any polls or about switching him out..
They know the result before they play the game.

Stop using media buzzwords and explain to me how Trump was a dictator his first 4 years without sounded mildly retarded.
