They act like they are hiring her for a fedgov position. It is an *INVESTIGATION* that an IG needs to do. The IRS not firing Louis is an infraction as she broke internal IRS rules that call for the immediate firing if certain bias political or otherwise is shown.

If an IG is not appropriate then another person that is not a conflict of interest. (Google search IG Gerald Walpin for a taste of how Obama handles an investigation involving himself.) Obama broke all the rules and fired IG Walpin because Walpin turned in a Americorps investigation that was not favorable at all to Obama nor his wife.)

This seems like a devious stall tactic from Obama. And I hope the idiotic republicans will eventually call for a special prosecutor.

Don't be such an ignoramus. They can't even ask her about that stuff. And those laws were passed at the behest of conservatives afraid (or maybe they were) of discrimination by career govt supervisors who were mostly democrats. It's a good law.

I cannot tell anymore if people are trolling or serious. If you are serious here is my reply.

It is a damn fine law if you are hiring someone to oversee the WH cafeteria. NOT someone to investigate the IRS improperly targeting political enemies of the current political party that occupies the WH.

The law is the law dude, and this wasn't an outside hire for that job. It was an assignment.
