Consider the fact that the last two Democrats elected President appointed the first woman and the first black man to be Attorney General. Both were untouchable politically, and both ignored serial abuses by members of the executive branch. Clinton and Obama knew what they were doing when they appointed Reno and Holder. Hopefully the next female and/or black Attorney General will be held to the same standards as while males who have held the position.
