Methane tax will be on 2024 emissions. And, of course, our royal leaders in DC, aka the Democrat Communists of America, have increased the emission factors that you use to dertmine methane emissions through their brownshirts at the EPA. Color me shocked. So, enjoy your incresaed gas prices and heating bills and AC costs. Because you will eat these costs. #FJB #LetsGoBrandon

P.S. Climate Change grift is a total scam and if you don't believe it, follow the $. Take money from oil and gas and give it to DC. To solve what problem, LOL, the one they made up. Your dear leaders in North Korea...errr DC... will keep you safe by taking your money and buying more votes.

In today’s Federal Register, EPA has published a final rule making various revisions to the rules related to the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program.

EPA has revised Table A-1 of Subpart A (General Provisions) to include updated global warming potential (GWP) figures, including raising the GWP of methane from 25 to 28, which will increase the number of facilities that exceed reporting thresholds and therefore will be required to report under the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program.

EPA has also revised numerous subparts to address gaps in emissions reporting, update estimation methodologies, improve data verification, clarify requirements, or make technical corrections, including Subpart A (General Provisions) and C (Stationary Fuel Combustion Sources). EPA is still working on revisions to Subpart W and a final rule regarding Subpart W should be announced at a later date.

A favorable development is that EPA, for now, has not taken any action to finalize its proposed new Subpart B provisions, which would have required reporting companies to report purchased electricity and thermal energy consumption information. Our July 20, 2023 comments opposed the finalization of Subpart B based on the illegality and unworkability of the proposed new Subpart B provisions, which inter alia would have required companies to comply with an onerous set of requirements including development of and adherence to a detailed “metered energy monitoring plan” for purchased electricity and thermal energy products. EPA now states that it intends to further review and consider the comments that have been filed regarding the Subpart B proposal “and may consider any next steps on the collection of data related to energy consumption in a future rulemaking.” None of the proposed requirements related to subpart B are included in today’s final rule.

The new amendments will become effective on January 1, 2025. The GWP amendments to table A–1 to subpart A will apply to reports submitted by current reporters that are submitted in calendar year 2025 and subsequent years (i.e., starting with reports submitted for 2024 on March 31, 2025). All other final revisions, which apply to both existing and new reporters, will be implemented for reports prepared for 2025 and submitted March 31, 2026. Reporters who are newly subject to the rule must implement all requirements to collect data, including any required monitoring and recordkeeping, on January 1, 2025.

Liberals only acknowledge a Supreme Court ruling when it benefits them.

They also ruled that the Biden administration can’t forgive student loans.

The Dems and this administration has proven again and again that they will not follow the law.

Supreme Court Rulings are a danger to democracy. Trump will be a dictator. So, we will make executive orders and polices to destroy America to protect democracy.
