A person doesn’t spend weeks or months planning an assault of this nature with no core motivation.
There are only 4 possibilities:
1. Psychiatric
2. Medical
3. Political
4. Conspiracy stuff
Why he did it has to fit into one of these.

You misunderstood. I merely mean that I can fathom running in to a case where figuring out the reason is challenging. Not that there wouldn't be a reason.
So, I wouldn't be stunned at a hard to figure out case.
But I'm friggin stunned at a "no one even seems to care anymore" case.

Vegas has more surveillance than anyone in the country and since they will not produce any video footage that tells me this is a cover up of mass proportions.

Well lets start with my family all are 58+ years old , I have 2 cousins, 2 uncles, until recently 2 aunts, and a brother, that have never owned a computer, had a email address, wouldn't have a clue how to access the internet. So that's 7, but I am not wasting my time coming up with the other 5.

1. Why have we not had an FBI briefing?
2. Has the MGM corporation stifled exposure to this story based on their business interest, i.e. lawsuits?
3. Who briefed Steve Wynn? In his interview, we learned Paddock used the service elevator to get the guns up to the suite. Can we see the video of that? Understandably, they were in suitcases.
4. What was on Paddock's laptops? Forensics?
5. Paddock videoed the shooting. Anyone see that?
6. How many guests were on the 32nd floor during the shooting and who extracted them? Interviews with them?
7. What drugs were in Paddock's system?
8. What was his escape route as alluded by the LVPD?
9. The LVPD chief indicated they had video of Paddock in the days before the shooting. What did he do? Where did he go?
